Donation Refund & Cancellation Policy
Transparency and operational guidelines regarding voluntary religious donations, Form 10BE tax certification, and marketplace transactions.
1. Voluntary Charitable Donations Policy
As a registered public charitable trust, contributions credited to the Trust are immediately applied toward scheduled sevas (daily cow fodder, pilgrim Anna Kshetra meals, and pujas). Therefore, voluntary donations are generally non-refundable.
2. Exceptions for Technical & Duplicate Transactions
In the event of accidental duplicate debiting, server timeouts, or erroneous payment processing, the donor must notify the Trust at Prachidham.ngo@gmail.com within 7 calendar days with proof of transaction (UTR/Order ID). Following verification, refunds will be initiated to the original payment source within 7 to 10 working days, net of applicable payment aggregator handling charges.
3. Statutory Limitation Post Form 10BE Issuance
In compliance with Indian Income Tax Department directives, once a donation is reported under Form 10BD and a statutory Certificate of Donation in Form 10BE has been issued, no refund or cancellation can be processed under any circumstances.
4. Marketplace Offerings Dispatch & Damage Replacement
Physical offerings ordered from the Silpi & Vedic Marketplace may be cancelled prior to dispatch. If an item arrives damaged or defective, notice with photo evidence must be sent within 48 hours of delivery to arrange an immediate replacement or refund.
