1. Overview & Statutory Jurisdiction
Prachi Dham Foundation ("Trust") is a registered public charitable trust in Gir Somnath, Gujarat, India. This Privacy Policy outlines our procedures in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, IT Rules 2011, Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP), and statutory regulations governing Section 80G public charitable trusts under the Income Tax Act, 1961.
2. Mandatory PAN & Form 10BD/10BE Tax Reporting
Pursuant to Rule 18AB of the Income Tax Rules and CBDT notifications, any donor seeking tax deduction under Section 80G(5)(vi) must provide their Permanent Account Number (PAN) and complete residential address. This data is strictly utilized to file the mandatory annual Statement of Donations in Form 10BD with the Income Tax Department and generate the Certificate of Donation in Form 10BE for the donor.
3. Payment Security & Zero Card Data Retention
All electronic donations and transactions are processed through Reserve Bank of India (RBI) authorized payment aggregators (Razorpay / UPI / Net Banking) over TLS 1.3 encrypted, PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. Prachi Dham Foundation does not store credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, or banking credentials on its servers.
4. Non-Commercial Use & Strict Confidentiality
We do not sell, rent, trade, or commercially lease donor information to third parties. Information is used exclusively for statutory record-keeping, audit by the Charity Commissioner and tax authorities, receipt delivery, and official trust communications.
